Lola came to us with a very clear vision and picture of what she wanted. Although she only needed a small home, she wanted it to feel spacious and peaceful.

Located in the heart of Bangalore city’s plush residential neighbourhoods, unfolds a lavish 3 storied bungalow spread over an area of 10500 square feet. The design of this bungalow goes beyond surface aesthetics, skilfully intertwining neoclassical sophistication with contemporary forms and yet retaining the functionality and practicality of the spaces.
The site is situated in a high-end neighbourhood jam packed with surrounding buildings demanding an exterior that reflects luxury and modernity while ensuring total privacy for the home inside. To achieve spaciousness on a limited footprint we had to go vertical, yet still flood the interiors with natural light- so we needed expansive double-height windows and abundant fenestration. Balancing a sleek, modern façade with a neo-classical interior palette added another layer of design tension.
Crafted with precision, the house layout graciously hosts five independent and generously sized bedrooms, each exuding its distinctive character and personality. Infused with neoclassical-inspired accents, these bedrooms seamlessly blend into the overall design, creating a harmonious and sophisticated ambiance throughout the entire residence. Overall, the architectural detailing and choice of materials contribute to the visual richness, providing a tactile and sensory experience throughout the three-story bungalow.
“I can recommend Archdeco highly enough. They took my ideas and made them even better, and had all sorts of suggestions for details I would never have thought of, which made all the difference to the end result. The team totally got what I wanted and always managed to find just the right piece or the right style.”

“We purchased a wonderful north facing one acre block of land in Daylesford, to build an eco-friendly, stabilised rammed earth home. We are thrilled with the end result – with the quality of workmanship, the materials used and with the wonderful flexibility we had as we built this house.
